ABOUT US
Mara Action Aid is a small humanitarian organization dedicated to providing education and a better life for Masai children living in extreme poverty. Currently, we support 15 Masai children and their families with food, education, and other resources aimed at easing their daily lives and opening up future opportunities. Vi betaler We cover school fees and ensure school supplies such as uniforms, books, and stationery for the children. A significant focus of our work is on promoting girls' rights, as young Masai girls face the risk of female genital mutilation and early marriage if they do not attend school. Education is therefore a crucial tool in combating the circumcision of girls.
Through focused efforts on education, sports, and empowerment, we aim to cultivate a society where every child has the opportunity to receive an education, which they can actively use to help lift their families and communities out of the poverty and injustice they currently endure.
